For those who wish to bring horses or ponies, there are facilities available to guests comprising of five individual stables and a tack room. There are 5 acres of paddocks on site, with plenty of room for parking a trailer or horsebox in a secure environment and there are innumerable bridle paths available in the immediate area.

There is a £25.00 charge per week per horse. This cost includes straw in the stable if required, however all feed must be supplied.

Ideally located in the heart of the Shropshire countryside, Cherry Lodge is a stylish self contained newly completed barn conversion set in 5 acres of extensive gardens and paddocks, ideally located just 3 miles from the market town of Cleobury Mortimer and within easy reach of the historic towns of Ludlow and Bridgnorth.

Cherry Lodge is the ideal base from which to discover the delights of the surrounding countryside, including numerous National Trust properties, a working steam railway, rare breed farm, historic working farms and the delights of the Black Country Museums, ancient towns and villages, medieval castles and fortified manor houses.

Lodge

The detached accommodation, sleeping up to 4 people, has been finished to a very high standard and has been awarded three stars from the 'Visit Britain' Board. The adjacent stables are available to stable horses and there are miles of bridleways to enjoy in the immediate neighbourhood.

The Kitchen
The front door opens into a well appointed country style Kitchen equipped with fridge, washing machine, microwave, toaster and a state of the art electric hob and oven and all the utensils and cutlery you're ever likely to need during your stay.

Lounge / Dining Room
The stylish lounge/dining room with comfortable bed-settee has stunning views over the gardens and surrounding countryside through patio doors, which lead out onto a patio area complete with barbecue and garden furniture. For your further entertainment, the lounge area is equipped with a colour Television, Stereo, DVD and Video player.

Bedroom
The spacious main bedroom, can be set up as either a double or a twin room, and offers delightful views over the garden area.

Shower Room
The fully tiled Shower room with electric shower is fully equipped, including heated Towel Rails.

Things You Need To Know

Cherry Lodge is available all year round and may be booked per week - Monday to Monday, for 4 nights Monday to Thursday, or 3 nights - Friday to Sunday, and depending on availability, may be booked on a single night bed and breakfast basis.

Evening meals and packed lunches can also be arranged at an additional cost - please contact us to discuss your requirements.
