Manor Farm Cottages are situated on a working farm, under the South Wessex Downs. These pretty and totally refurbished cottages make an ideal touring base for Salisbury, Stonehenge, Shaftesbury, Bath and Longleat.

The farm is connected to an excellent network of footpaths and bridal ways. Stabling and grazing are available. The Down land has a spectacular collection of wild flowers in Spring and Summer and the farm is in a conservation scheme in this area of outstanding natural beauty.

Owner's Description

The cottages have three light and airy bedrooms, made up with quality freshly laundered linen. There is a bright bathroom, with power shower over the bath, and a seperate downstairs cloakroom. The kitchen has stunning views, high ceilings, oak floor, and guests comment how well equipped it is, a pleasure to produce lovley meals in. The spacious open plan living area, has a 17 Centuray large inglenook fireplace with wood burner, perfect for cosy winter evening, and a light dining room and table seating 6.

Each cottage has a petty garden, patio with out door furniture, and a BBQ, for dining outside while admiring the view on long Summer evening.

Things You Need To Know

We as a family have farmed Manor farm for 15 years, and have just changed the farm to organic, and produce excellent organic beef, that can be purchased. We have three daughters who would be pleased to babysit so guests can go out for a meal in one of the excellnt pubs close by, renouned for good local cuisine. We can also provide breakfast and supper hampers full of fresh local produce.

We can arrange a grocery shop before your arrival, and can arrange riding and golf, and book beauty treatments at the Retreat spa, 2 minutes away.

50 % of our guests come back and stay with us throughout the year.
