Things You'll Love

Situated 10 miles south of Stornoway, in the picturesque village of Crossbost, the house sits high up on the north shores of Loch Leurbost, allowing views, on a clear day, to the Sutherland hills on the mainland.

Location

The local area
Crossbost is a quiet village with few cars on the roads and sheep in the fields! The sea loch can be seen from all parts of the village and the shore is easily accessible. There are two small stoney beaches an easy walk away.

Crossbost pier and jetty are only a couple of minutes walk from the house making it an ideal spot for exploring the shore, fishing or any boating activities. There are lovely walks and cycles around the village but for those just looking for a relaxing holiday, a seat at the picnic bench looking down onto the loch is hard to beat!

All within 3 miles of the house you will find a petrol station with grocery shop, doctor's surgery and churches.

Stornoway, ideal for shopping, hotels, banks, eating out (or taking away!) and entertainment, is only a 10-15 minute drive away. Buses to Stornoway pass the house regularly throughout the day and evening.
