The Cottage enjoys a quiet and peaceful location with panoramic views over farmland towards the National Wallace Monument, Ochil and Gargunnock Hills. West Drip is a family run, arable farm.
Location
West Drip Farm is just 3 miles north of Stirling and 1 mile from the main north/south motorway (M9 Jnt.10). Blairdrummond Safari Park is just up the road as is the road to the Trossachs where you can enjoy some of Scotland's most beautiful lochs and mountains. We are 40 minutes drive from Scotland's capital city Edinburgh and its largest city Glasgow.
Owner's Description
A lovely detached cottage sleeping up to 6 people plus baby, it has ample parking space, a private garden with children's swing and farm walks to enjoy. The cottage is wheelchair friendly with a ramp at the front door and all accommodation is on the same level.
Hawthorn Cottage has a large open plan fitted kitchen, dining and living area with french doors which open onto a garden patio. There are three bedrooms, one double with an en-suite shower room and two twin rooms. All beds are freshly made up with good quality cotton linen for your arrival. The main bathroom is suitable for disabled use. You will find fresh flowers on your arrival along with a complimentary tray set with tea, coffee, milk, sugar and shortbread. For your convenience a small supply of domestic goods (toilet rolls, dishwasher powder, washing up liquid etc) is also provided. There is a good selection of games, books, CD's, DVD's, local maps and plenty of tourist information.
Electrical goods include an electric feature fire, colour digital TV and DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and CD player. Freezer space and a tumble drier are available at the farm. The cottage has oil central heating with radiators in all rooms. High chair, cot (cot linen not included) and fold down bed for an extra guest are available on request (£10 charge for an extra guest). There is also a BBQ for you to enjoy on the patio just ask. Please note we do not accept pets and smoking is prohibited in all of our properties.

The property is just a short drive from the A84, M9 and the City of Stirling providing excellent road and local rail links to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth, the Highlands and beyond. Stirling is only 10 minutes by car.
Directions to Hawthorn Cottage from the North and South
Travel North/South on the M9 motorway until you leave at exit 10. Go onto the A84 North (signed for Doune, Callander, Crianlarich and Blairdrummond Safari Park), pass Dobbies Garden Centre on your right, cross a small bridge (about ¼ mile from motorway), West Drip Farm is then the 3rd road off to the left indicated by a green sign post (another ¼ mile).
