Location
Millstones can be found four miles from the town of Leek, on the Ashbourne road, in a delightful rural setting. From here, it is only a short journey to be enjoying the stunning landscapes of the Peak District, the rolling countryside of the Staffordshire Moors, the historic and industrial Potteries or the adrenaline charged excitement of Alton Towers. Only 6 miles from Alton Towers on an easy route, and 4 minutes from the town of Leek,on an easy direct route.
Owner's Description
A family run, working stock farm, with pedigree cattle and sheep, a stay here is essentially a rural experience, quiet and peaceful. A large barn next to the main house has been carefully renovated to form two cottages, both on two floors. each sleeping a single bedroom on the ground floor, and either a double bed or two singles upstairs.
The whole accommodation area is flat and laid to concrete or tarmac. Parking is directly outside the cottages on a concrete base. A concrete path runs in front of each property, and entrance is gained via an easy concrete ramp. The ground floor of each is fully accessible and consists of a studio-type living area, a bathroom and a bedroom. The living areas have a fully equipped kitchen with full size oven and two ringed hob,microwave, fridge, etc, a dining table, comfortable lounge chairs and a colour television. The bathrooms have a level floor shower, a low level sink and well positioned grab rails for the toilet and shower. The bedroom is accessible with a single bed. A further bedroom, with two singles beds, is on the first floor, up an open staircase. A fold-away bed is available to accommodate a fourth person.
Adjacent to the cottages is an accessible utility room with a washing machine and a tumble drier. To the front of the main farm building are an accessible grassed area and a pond, surrounded by a beautiful array of plants and flowers.
