Beautifully furnished with unusual marble topped furniture the apartment is very spacious. The log fire and shutters on the windows give it a cosy feel in the winter months.
In the summer there is a small garden to enjoy to the rear with bench seat and barbecue.

Location

The apartment is also close to the children's outdoor play area, the Citadel pool and sports arena. The Gaiety theatre and Ayr's Racecourse are other amenities also found close by. There is a wealth of restaurants and pubs within walking distance, as is the newly opened Ayr Central shopping centre.

Ayr is in the heart of golfing country; Old Prestwick Golf course, the home of golf, only 15 mins away and Turnberry, where the Open Golf Championship will be held in 2009 just 30 mins down the beautiful Ayrshire coastline. Culzean Castle owned by National Trust is well worth visiting as is Robert Burn's Cottage and National Heritage Park.

The main entrance takes you into a hallway leading to a large lounge with open wood-burning fire, a large double or twin bedroom, a second twin bedroom, store room suitable for golf clubs and other sports gear, a well fitted kitchen with dining area, a utility room with laundry facilities and a large bathroom with bath and shower.

The setup in the two bedrooms is flexible, ranging from two king-size beds and a single bed to five single beds. The sofa bed in the lounge maximises the accommodation available to 6 persons.

Although the facility is self catering, bed linen and towels, cleaning products and basic foodstuffs will be provided. There is a gas hob and electric oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, dish-washer, washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. Heating is by metered gas central heating.

In the summer, the delightful garden is a great location for barbecues to be enjoyed.

The lounge has a TV with DVD and free-view facilities.
