Many visitors come to Callander and stay in our cottage just to see the famous woollen mills at Kilmahog just half a mile north of the town.
You will be in central position to explore Scotland:
- Enjoy the nostalgia of the 'Hamilton Toy Museum' in Callander Main Street
- - Visit Stirling, Glasgow, Perth and Edinburgh - an hour or less by car.
- Have an adventure in the Blair Drummond Safari Park
- Loch Lomond and the Drumkinnon Tower are only 45 minutes by car
- Take a few leisurely strolls on Callander Crags and woods walks, or visit the famous Bracklinn Falls
- Be a little more adventurous and take a walk up Ben Ledi or Ben A'an, both of which offer stupendous views
- Take a 15 minute drive to Loch Katrine - the heart of the Trossachs and hire a bike for the ride up the loch side
- Or sail up the loch to Stronachlachar on the 100 year old steamer 'Sir Walter Scott'...

Location

Callander is a small Scottish Town, almost in the centre of Scotland and on the very edge of the highlands. It has been a very popular visitor destination since Victorian times when the railways brought the first tourists to see The Trossachs.

Ardchoille cottage in Callander is ideally situated 300 Metres from the Town Square and the Rob Roy Centre with a number of good restaurants and Pubs/Hotels within two to five minutes walking distance.

A well stocked grocery store is conveniently close for those who wish to use the modern kitchen facilities.

The popular local shopping area and tourist information centre are also conveniently close to the cottage in Callander Main Street.

Ardchoille Cottage offers 1 double, 1 twin also with full size bunks, bathroom with shower over bath, lounge with bar unit & stools, dining room, fully fitted kitchen, utility room.

On the ground floor.

Lounge -(5.1 x 3M) with 3 Piece Suite, DVD player, Free to View Sky Digital TV Channels , Bar Unit and 4 Stools Coal Effect Electric Fire, Coffee Tables and Lamps etc
Dining Room -(3.1 x 3M). Dining Table and 6 chairs, sufficient Cutlery & Crockery for 6 settings. Radio/CD Player.
Kitchen -(8.2 x 1 .7M), Fully fitted, complete with Electric Cooker, Chest freezer, Dish-washer, Washing Machine, Drier, Fridge, Kettle, Toaster, a good range of Utensils and Pans, Table and 2 Chairs.
Utility Room -(2 x 1 .1 M) suitable for storing Outdoor Gear etc.

On the first floor.

Two Double Bedded Rooms (5.1 x 3M), one with Large 3 Unit Wardrobe and Dressing Table, the
other with a smaller unit. One room also has bunk beds. A cot and high chair is also available.
Bathroom (2M x 2M), tiled with full size Bath and Shower.
