Location

Situated on the edge of the delightful Perthshire town of Aberfeldy, deep within the unforgettable Tay valley in Scotland.

Aberfeldy is less than a two hour drive from Glasgow or Edinburgh Airport. The town centre is a delightful 10-15 minute walk along the banks of the river from The Beeches, and provides access to shops, provisions, restaurants and public transport.

Aberfeldy is a pleasant rural town and a first class touring centre. It has a leisure complex with squash courts, multi-gym and a 25 metre indoor swimming pool with sauna and jacuzzi. There is also an eighteen hole golf course, bowling green and tennis courts. The surrounding area has much to offer with hillwalking, pony trekking, fishing and all forms of water sports as well as other golf courses.

For the less energetic there are several gardens open to the public, distilleries and historic sites and buildings to visit. The Pitlochry Festival Theatre is a half-hour drive away and offers a varied programme of plays during the season.

Our cottage is situated on the edge of Aberfeldy, looking north over the Tay Valley. It features a delightful south facing back garden, with a small, furnished patio area. The house is only fifteen minute's walk from public transport and local amenities such as supermarket, post office and shops.

The main living area consists of a spacious 24ft combined lounge and dining area. It is equipped with colour TV and DVD.

The large breakfast area/kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, electric cooker, microwave and automatic washing machine. A tumble drier in located within the garage.

There are two double bedrooms. One has twin beds, and the other has a double bed, providing sleeping accommodation for four guests.

The bathroom has an electric shower facility, a bath and a shaver point.

The cottage is double-glazed throughout and is equipped with total control electric heating. This makes it very comfortable throughout the year. There is a payphone in the house and private, off-street car parking is available.
