Nestled between a grassed area and a walled courtyard, the ever-popular Hazel Cottage is one of our properties that has been adapted to accommodate wheelchair users. This cottage has an entrance on both sides and means that you can sit out and have coffee in the morning sun and a glass of wine in the evening sun.

Location
You will be staying a few minutes from the River Thames in the heart of the most glorious Oxfordshire countryside. The historic market town centre of Abingdon-on-Thames is a leisurely 10 minute walk and the City of Oxford is only 8 miles away.
There are a wide variety of things to do every day. You can choose from a day trip on the Thames, visit local sights of interest, sample the many local restaurants, go shopping or perhaps enjoy some relaxing countryside walks.
There are also many family attractions such as Stratford-upon-Avon, Blenheim Palace, Warwick Castle, and of course the Cotswolds - all within easy driving distance.
Owner's Description
There is a wide and low-level front door that allows easy access into the Cottage, where you'll find all rooms are set on the ground floor. Hazel Cottage has a fully fitted kitchen with cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave.
Turn left into the Cottage to find the larger bedroom, complete with a Wispa ceiling track. Next to the main bedroom is the shower room also fitted with ceiling tracking and shower chair available on request.
At the far end of the cottage, just off the kitchen, is a cosy second bedroom with a pull out bed that can sleep two adults, completing the layout of this versatile accommodation.
As with all our self-catering accommodation, you are also entitled to private and exclusive use of our swimming pool for one hour a day, every day, throughout your stay with us.
With easy access and some dedicated equipment, Hazel Cottage is the perfect place to enjoy a quiet getaway.
Things You Need To Know
This cottage is nestled between Granary and Stable Cottage and shares the same view of the gardens. Because of its situation you may have other guests walking past your door to get to their cottage or the swimming pool.
Directions
Proceed along the A34 to the A415 Abingdon exit.
From A34 head for the Town Centre across three roundabouts. After third roundabout you will find yourself on Ock Street (A415). Proceed to traffic lights.
Turn left onto Stratton Way and Continue up to the traffic lights. Turn right into Stert Street, pass two pedestrian crossings and the Church clock tower on the left. Continue straight, pass the Nags Head pub on the left when crossing the bridge over the River Thames.
Just over the bridge, turn left into public car park and follow the lane in front of you. This will lead to Kingfisher Barn and main car park where the reception is located.
