Location

Pharos is an ideal base for exploring the magnificent sites, scenery and wildlife that Orkney has to offer.

Its central location means that it is within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, swimming pool and sports centre. The harbour is nearby for catching the ferry to explore the northern isles.

The stunning St Magnus Cathedral, Earls Palace and Bishops Palace are a ten minute walk away, and Scapa beach, which overlooks the world famous Scapa Flow is only twenty minutes walk.

Owner's Description

The spacious living room is equipped with a widescreen T.V, DVD player, video recorder and CD player. There is also a selection of books, games, toys, films and CD's for all the family to enjoy.The open fire creates a cosy atmosphere on cooler evenings.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, large fridge, freezer, microwave and washing machine. there is a dining table which can seat up to six people and there is also a colour portable T.V.

The main bedroom has a king sized double bed and two built in wardrobes. There are two bedside cabinets with lamps and a chest of drawers.

Bedroom 2 has been completely upgraded for 2008. We are currently waiting for an updated photograph. The room has a full sized single bed, with an extra full sized guest bed if required. There is ample storage space available.

Bedroom 3 has also been upgraded for 2008 and is awaiting a new phoograph. There are full sized bunk beds and ample storage space available.

The bathroom has an electric shower over the bath, a heated towel rail and an electric shaving point.

The garden to the front is mainly grass with some shrubs and bushes, while the back contains the drying green, and is completely enclosed, which makes it ideal for younger children to play in. There is a large shed, which is the perfect place to leave your bicycles during your stay. The drive has enough space for up to three cars, and there is a path that leads to Scapa beach, which is great for walking your dogs.

There is a large garden to the front, and an enclosed garden to the rear, which is ideal for younger children.
