Location

We wish you a very warm welcome to the peace and tranquillity of Border Forest Caravan Park Northumberland, situated on the edge of the mighty Kielder Forest.
There is an abundance of wildlife, numerous walks and nature trails, also direct access to the famous Pennine Way.

We are ideally situated to explore the stunning scenery in and around Northumberland and the border country which is steeped in a sometimes turbulent and violent history, for example the Battle of Otterburn in 1388 where an English army under Sir Henry Percy fought an army of Scottish knights under the Earl of Douglas.

Only a short drive away is the famous Hadrians Wall, built by the Roman emperor Hadrian around 122 AD. Travelling in the other direction is the Heritage Coast with beautiful beaches.
Or just simply relax on the holiday park and savour the now peaceful views without going anywhere.

Our Timber Lodge is idyllically situated adjacent to the Cottonshope burn and overlooks beautiful pine forests.

The lodge comfortably caters for 4 adults, with 2 bedrooms, (1 double & 1 twin) and also includes all bedding.

The spacious lounge has patio-doors opening onto a large veranda.

The centre kitchen is fully fitted and includes gas cooker, fridge and microwave with all utensils.

The bathroom is fitted with shower and corner bath with jacuzzi.

The heating comprises of gas full central heating & gas fire.

All gas and electric is included in the price and a T.V. is also provided.

Timber Lodge, as with our country cottage is open all year round.

Things You Need To Know

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on their lead whilst on the site.
There are plenty of dog walks off site.
