Location

We wish you a very warm welcome to the peace and tranquillity of Border Forest Caravan Park Northumberland, situated on the edge of the mighty Kielder Forest.

There is an abundance of wildlife, numerous walks and nature trails, also direct access to the famous Pennine Way.

We are ideally situated to explore the stunning scenery in and around Northumberland and the border country which is steeped in a sometimes turbulent and violent history, for example the Battle of Otterburn in 1388 where an English army under Sir Henry Percy fought an army of Scottish knights under the Earl of Douglas.

Only a short drive away is the famous Hadrians Wall, built by the Roman emperor Hadrian around 122 AD. Travelling in the other direction is the Heritage Coast with beautiful beaches.
Or just simply relax on the holiday park and savour the now peaceful views without going anywhere.

As well as our caravan park for touring and static vans we can also offer you our country cottage which has recently been renovated and tastefully decorated.

Border Forest cottage is open all year round.

The cottage comprises of a small terrace at the entrance which allows you to sit and take in the scenery and wildlife, whilst perhaps enjoying a small glass of wine with your lunch or evening meal.
Or just relax and watch the world go by.
kitchen, with fridge and cooking area together with utensils.

There is also a double bedroom with en-suite toilet and shower facilities, bedding is of course included.

Things You Need To Know

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on their lead whilst on the site.
There are plenty of dog walks off site.

Other Information

Dogs £10.00 per hiring for all dogs kept inside all our accommodation.
