Wellington Terrace Apartment is a Luxuriously appointed spacious ground floor apartment in a Victorian Manse which occupies a unique position on the town walls. It is a part of Berwick's Elizabethan Ramparts only a few yards away from the estuary of the River Tweed.
This 5* self catering apartment provides a secure, comfortable, spacious and relaxing base from which to explore the area and to enjoy your holiday.
There is a large combined living and dining area complete with a genuine Victorian fire surround refitted with a gas fire.
The modern kitchen is filled with all of the latest appliances to satisfy your gourmet needs.
A spa bath with 'waterfall' type shower and heated floor and heated towel rail makes bath time fun.
With two well appointed bedrooms - 1 double and 1 twin (with a sofa bed) - it can cater for 5 people. There is a safe in one bedroom to secure your valuables.
Centrally heated throughout.
The secluded walled garden with a summer house (has lighting and heating) provides that all important privacy. Garden furniture and sun chairs and beds with a barbecue pit are there for the more relaxing days. Water and electricity are available in the garden.
Not only is the accommodation beautifully equipped it is also accessible to the disabled. A sound loop in the sitting/dining room and single level (step free) access, allows almost everybody to enjoy this apartment.
Unfortunately we cannot accept pets.
Well behaved young children are welcome.
Free residents' parking is available at the end of the garden.

Wellington Terrace Apartment provides luxuriously appointed holiday accommodation located to the ground floor of a Victorian Scottish Manse constructed in 1850. The Manse is listed by English Heritage as Grade 2* and the building occupies a unique position on the Elizabethan walls surrounding the town.
Wellington Terrace Apartment also boasts an integrated induction sound loop in the sitting/dining room. There are no steps from the street entrance and one single level throughout the accommodation making it the ideal base for disabled.
The apartment offers two well appointed bedrooms, one double and a twin which can cater for four [or up to five] persons upon request.
These finely furnished bedrooms are complemented by a spacious living area complete with original Victorian fire surround refitted as a gas fire and dining area.
The apartment comes complete with a fully fitted kitchen for all your gourmet needs. A luxury whirlpool bath with waterfall shower and heated floor completes the luxury accommodation.

Recently re-furbished to the highest standard these rooms combine a modern style with all the practicalities one could wish for - helping make your stay even better!
The kitchen comes fully fitted in an easy to use layout utilizing all of the available space in a conscious effort to provide a relaxing working environment.
The fully tiled bathroom is light and airy while still retaining a warm feel - partly thanks to the underfloor heating.
The bath itself is complete with a fabulous spa stream - perfect to unwind after a days sight seeing- and a refreshing waterfall shower, ideal for a morning wake up!
Directions
From the railway station you will need to take a taxi as the distance is around one mile to the apartment.
From Golden Square bus stop you walk through town, turn right at the town hall and continue forwards.
Turn sharp left at the Old Hen & Chickens pub. After 100 yards you will see a rough wooden door on the right side-through that.
By car it is easiest to print out a set of directions from Google Maps or else use your satellite navigation.
