Harrop Fold, set in a recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is a tiny hamlet with a history dating back to the 12thC. Within Harrop Fold are a few cottages and farmsteads and its very own chapel, surrounded by fells. Gentle renovation has preserved the character of this ancient hamlet whilst introducing the necessities of today. The result is a well balanced community with a deep love of "The Fold".
Served by an excellent approach road, Harrop Fold, formerly in the West Riding of Yorkshire, is 3 miles from the attractive villages of Slaidburn, Bolton by Bowland and Grindleton, and 7 miles from Clitheroe, a country market town in the Ribble valley, within easy reach of the M6 motorway.
Harrop Fold is the ideal location from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District and the coastal resorts of Morecambe, Blackpool and Southport, all within a 1 hour drive.

There are 4 cottages within Harrop Fold. The Old Granary sleeps 2, Manor House Cottage can sleep 3, Bradley House sleeps up to four persons and Manor House sleeps up to 5. All the accommodation is well appointed, with relaxing sitting rooms, exposed beams, colour TVs and well equipped kitchens.
Manor House Cottage is a 17th Century Grade II listed property. It sleeps 3 and has a large beamed lounge with coal effect oil fire.

From M6 jct 31, Harrop Fold is signposted off the Grindelton-Slaidburn road near its jct with the road from Holden and Bolton by Bowland. Continue to end of single track, Harrop Chapel is on the right. At Harrop Fold, white house on the left, turn right.
