Nestling under the western side of Stenbury Down, a mile south of Godshill, Plum Tree Cottage offers an exceptionally quiet location. The cottage is reached via a network of quiet country lanes and provides a real 'away from it all' feel.

Despite it's rural location there is easy access to shops and facilities with Godshill a 10 minute walk away and with the seaside towns of Ventnor and Shanklin a short drive.

There are countless attractions in the area as well as a superb network of footpaths offering routes to explore the surrounding countryside in all directions.

The are many beaches within a short drive some offering facilities, but also some beautiful out of the way beaches and coves can be found around the south of the island.

Owner's Description

The cottage is centrally heated and also has a multifuel stove in the living room for a real fire, - ideal for cooler evenings in Spring or Autumn. The spacious open plan living area leads into the beautifully fitted kitchen which features a washer dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave and electric hob and oven.

Upstairs there is a master bedroom with a double bed, middle bedroom with two singles and a single room with 3' bunk beds.The bathroom/WC with shower is also located on the first floor.

The spacious garden extends around 3 sides and is mainly lawned, with some fruit trees (hence the name) and is bordered by mature hedgerows. There is a south facing patio area with garden furniture and BBQ.

We welcome well behaved dogs by prior arrangement.

Other Information

All weekly bookings run from Saturday to Saturday.
Off peak short breaks are available between November and March, but exclude Christmas and February Half term holidays.
3 night breaks @ £70 per night per party. Short break bookings are for a minimum 3 nights.
