Location - Scotland
12 miles east of Fort William & Ben Nevis,
about 3 hours from Glasgow by car. Owner's Description
Situated at the edge of the village of Roybridge in the West Highlands, our cottage is a short walk from the rivers Spean and Roy and surrounding woodlands. Longer walks can take you into the Grey Corries (mountains) or to the Great Glen and a little further on (12 miles) is Ben Nevis and the nearest town, Fort William.
The cottage probably dates from the late 1700s but has been carefully brought up to modern standards with double glazing, a large fitted kitchen, and new bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle. There's a house phone and wireless broadband as well as the usual DVD/ TV / Music system.
There is a large garden with trees and plenty of parking space. Alongside the garden is the Roybridge Station on the West Highland Line - which provides four passenger trains in each direction per day. It's still quiet though - you can't normally hear the trains from inside the house.
Heating is all electric apart from the two fireboxes in the main rooms. Fuel and electricity are included in the rental. Things You Need To Know
