We provide 8 stylish self catering holiday accommodation properties near the centre of Aviemore, set amidst tranquil silver birch woodlands with stunning views of the Cairngorm National Park in the heart of the Highlands of Scotland.

All properties specifically cater for families or couples and provide the perfect location (1 mile to town center, ½ mile to the sports club, restaurant and bar, golf course, swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, river fishing) to enjoy all outdoor activities, (including ski-ing 13 miles away), sightseeing, touring (see here for more details) and much, much more - simply turn the key, relax and enjoy a stress free break.

Dalwhinnie is a 2/3 bedroomed house, catering specifically for a family or couples and boasting 2 Lounges, one of which can be utilised as a bedroom, or remain purely as somewhere for the adults to have some "space of their own" to enjoy the steam train passing and views up to Craigellachie. Additionally, the main double bedroom has en-suite facilities, there is a twin bedroom, there is a spacious lounge/dining room, additional bathroom/shower, and kitchen with adjoining utility room. The kitchen has a dishwasher, cooker, microwave oven, fridge, freezer and laundry facilities.

It has a spacious lounge/dining room with colour TV and DVD and comfortably seats 5 adults. The main lounge/dining room looks up to the summit of Cairngorm.

The master bedroom has en-suite facilities including a shower, wc and wash-hand basin.

Patio doors lead from this lounge into the partly paved garden. The garden is totally enclosed by ranch fencing, providing complete security for children and pets. Garden furniture and a gas barbecue are provided.

The house comfortably sleeps 6 people, and all towels and linen are provided. A cot and highchair are available, and pets are welcome.

This is an excellent base for exploring all of the diverse activities offered by the Spey Valley.

A visit to the Dalfaber Golf & Country Club (see Leisure complex for details) is highly recommended. Facilities include swimming pool, jacuzzi, 2 saunas, steamroom, sun beds, gymnasium, 9 hole golf course, and fly fishing on the River Spey. Bring your own towels for the swimming pool!

Things You Need To Know

You may bring a cat or dog with you, but please let us know when you book. You must bring your pet's basket, as they are only permitted on the strict understanding that they must not lie on bedding or chairs, and will be restrained from causing undue annoyance to other residents. They should not be left unattended, must be kept on a lead, and prohibited from fouling areas around the house.

Dalfaber Golf & Country Club Membership Cards: These are valuable items, and good care should be taken of them. If they are lost or removed by one tenant, they are not available for use by the next, causing inconvenience to everyone. If any of the cards are not returned on departure, this will result in loss of deposit
