Hillwalking, fishing, birdwatching (the Golden Eagle may be spotted), and golf may be enjoyed and the safe sandy beaches and crystal clear waters provide their own joys for all the family. Kinloid Farm, Arisaig, is located on the Road to the Isles, on the beautiful Moidart Peninsula.
The area is closely associated with Prince Charles, "Bonnie Prince Charlie" and the 1745 Rising. It was not far from here that the bonnie prince landed to embark upon his romantic mission - and it was from here that he finally departed Scotland as a hunted fugitive.
From Arisaig and Mallaig you can sail to the picturesque Small Isles of Eigg, Rum, Muck and Canna. The West Highland Railway line from Fort William to Mallaig is arguably the most beautiful rail journey in the world (and featured in the films Harry Potter and the the Chamber of Secrets and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Travelling the "Road to the Isles" it provides mountain, loch and seascape views which are unrivalled and which may be viewed from a modern observation coach or romantic steam train. The bedrooms comprise one double and one twin. There is an additional sofa bed in the sitting room if your party is for 6 people. The linen is provided but you will need to bring your own towels.
The kitchen is equipped with all you need to have a great holiday including cooker, microwave and dishwasher. You're on holiday so no washing up!!
The cottage also has a TV and DVD player for those relaxing evenings when you need to just check up on the rest of the world or enjoy your favourite movie.
With double glazing and fully heated you can rest assured that you will be in comfort whatever the weather.
