The Parlour At Copper Beeches

"The Parlour self catering unit has been beautifully converted from the old milking parlour here at Torberry Farm."

Location

South facing bedrooms, overlooking the South Downs, in a converted barn. A public footpath is situated opposite Copper Beeches, with a 15 minute walk up to the South Downs Way.

A warm welcome awaits all visitors (from us and our Weimaraner dog!)

South Harting (1 mile) has two pubs and Petersfield (3 miles) has a choice of pubs and restaurants etc.

Owner's Description

As you walk in you will notice the beamed ceiling, a well equiped Kitchenette with fridge, 4 hot rings, microwave/oven/grill, kettle, toaster etc.

The lounge area, has TV, video, radio, CD player and tape deck.

A night storage heater and a Wood Burning Stove for extra heating, two double sofa beds, large french windows opening onto a small patio area and grass looking out onto open fields leading to the South Downs.

One bedroom which can be either a Double room or Twin. Clock/radio and hairdryer provided. Bathroom with heated towel rail, wash basin, toilet and bath with overhead electric shower. Pleanty of storage space.

All bedding, bed linen, towels and electricity included in the price. Many local attractions for all ages and interests.

Things You Need To Know

As a general rule, arrival after 4 p.m. leaving by 10 a.m. on date of departure - Saturday / Sunday - although we can be flexible with prior notice.

No extra charge for dogs - They must not be left unattended at any time, any damage caused must be notified and paid for before departure.

Directions

From the A.3. (South Bound):
Take the first exit off for Petersfield / A272 Midhurst, at the roundabout turn left for the A272 / Uppark (brown tourist sign for N.T. House) at the staggered cross roads turn right for South Harting and Uppark, follow this road to its conclusion - T. junction turn left onto the B2146 for South Harting and Uppark. Over the Hampshire/West Sussex Border, past the turning on you right for Ditcham Park School. Copper Beeches is the next property on your left with a Green and White 'B&B' displayed, our drive is off 'Alitex's' entrance.

From the A.3 (North Bound):
Take the first exit off for Petersfield / Buriton at the roundabout turn left for Petersfield Town Centre, when you arrive at the mini roudabout at Tesco's entrance go straight over, immediately you will come to a crossroads, turn right onto the B2146 for South Harting and Uppark. Go past Petersfield Heath Pond on your left then as above.

From Midhurst:
On the A272, turn left for Elsted / South Harting, go through the village of Elsted, as you come into the Village of South Harting, you will see The Ship (public house) on your right, turn right immediately after The Ship onto the B2146 for Petersfield, you will see Copper Beeches about 1 mile on your right, there are four houses of which we are the last, a Green and White B & B board is displayed.

From Winchester:
On the A272, follow the signs for Midhurst, then follow the signs as above as if you have travelled South Bound on the A.3.
