Location

This century-old, semi-detached house overlooks the beautiful Axe Valley and is 1 mile from the holiday resort of Seaton, part of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. The village of Colyford is in the middle of a holiday route linking East Devon and West Dorset.

The house is surrounded by pretty countryside, with walks, beaches, horse riding, golf and birdwatching nearby. Colyford village has a Post Office, stores, butchers and two pubs, as well as a restaurant.

This fully-equipped house, recently refurbished, has quality furnishings.

The 25ft lounge has two settees and a large open fireplace, with French windows opening out onto the lawned garden giving superb views down the Axe Valley.

The breakfast room, with large dining table, shares the same views to the sea and the kitchen, with Rayburn, is well-appointed. There is also an enclosed conservatory which is useful for storage.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, the master bedroom having a double bed and valley view while the other has two 3ft single beds.

The modern bathroom features a bath with hand shower.
