Things You'll Love

An area of rolling hillsides, granite moorland, thatched cottages and attractive coastal resorts, South Devon is a popular holiday destination. Inland, sturdy ponies roam wild on remote Dartmoor where pretty villages, sparkling streams and ancient bridges are scattered across the rugged and forbidding moorland scenery. On the mild south coast, where sub-tropical plants flourish, the resorts which line Torbay have justly earned the title of "The English Riviera".

Location

Nestled at the southernmost tip of Torbay, Brixham has been an important fishing centre since the middle ages. Still home to a primary trawler fleet, this now shares the waters with the many leisure craft moored in the Marina. By night the harbour sparkles with energy from the many café bars and seafood restaurants.
