Six well appointed self-catering cottages and apartments offer delightful views and a real home from home.
Five cottages are converted from ancient barns and
one is a self contained annexe of the main farmhouse - a thatched Devon longhouse with parts dating from the 14th century and featuring a wealth of beams.
You'll love the quiet, the stunning views the
wildlife and the wonderful local walks.
You'll delight to relax in the well kept gardens with picture postcard views.

Venture further afield and we are an ideal centre for discovering a delightful, unexplored corner of Devon bordering both Somerset and Dorset.
To the North the quiet roads and charming villages of the Blackdown Hills, the Somerset levels and Vale of Taunton.
Or go South to enjoy the World Heritage Jurassic Coast—from Seaton's tramway along the wildlife-rich Axe estuary to Charmouth's visitor centre and fossil hunting.

Quakers Annexe,
graded four stars by Visit Britain and holding a silver award from Green Business Tourism scheme, makes a comfortable home from home. This pretty, thatched accommodation (to the right in the main photo) is a part/wing of main DevonLonghouse.
On the ground floor there is an attractive lounge with cast iron Woodburner effect stove, exposed stone wall and a delightful outlook across the gardens to the pretty valley beyond.
From the quarry-tiled kitchen diner, with solid beech worktops and table, a French door leads your own garden area with garden furniture and the nearby parking area.
On the first floor, a large landing, graced with an ancient oak screen, leads to a pretty double bedroom (five foot bed) with ensuite shower room.
The second bedroom is a comfortably large room with wall beams, stripped pine floor and very pretty views across the terrace and gardens. Adaptable bedding provides two three-foot twin beds which can be linked to give a super king six-foot double. The spacious ensuite bathroom boasts a super sized bath plus an over bath power shower.
Quakers is non-smoking.
Things You Need To Know
Lea Hill is tucked away among narrow Devon lanes - so don't expect to hurry!
Towels teatowels, cleaning materials are here already for you.
Our Hot Tub is for adults only but we do ask you not to use it late at night.
Heating is included but in Summer & in mild weather in the late spring and early Autumn season this may be via spot heaters rather than radiators.
Our thatched cottages are non smoking.

Travelling from Chard
Follow the A30 trunk road up the Main Street towards Honiton. After about 1 (one) mile turn left at the sign to Stockland / Wambrook, then follow signs to Membury.
On reaching Membury, go through the village and past the Trout Farm.
Proceed for about half a mile and you will find us on the right.
Travelling from Axminster
From the George Hotel, take the road sign-posted to Membury and proceed out of Axminster, over the railway crossing.
Follow signs to Membury and through the village as described above.
