Location
Wheeldon Trees Farm is set amidst the rolling hills of the Peak District National park, just one mile from the village of Earl Sterndale. The farm is six miles from the popular Spa Town of Buxton and eight miles from the bustling market town of Bakewell (Market Day is Monday).
The farm nestles at the foot of High Wheeldon (1,384 feet) and although not a working farm now, sheep and cattle graze on the surrounding land.
Owner's Description
Sheldon Cottage is carpeted in the bedrooms with tiles in the living area; it is furnished with contemporary oak dining furniture & leather settees and has a modern, well equipped kitchen with oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee machine and Denby china.
The cottage has a colour television, video and DVD player, and hi-fi with Ipod docking. Linen and towels are provided.
On arrival guests will also find tea, coffee, sugar and a jug of milk, toiletries, cling film, silver foil, kitchen & toilet paper. Breakfast boxes are available on request (filled with local and home-produce), with ready-prepared main courses and puds & delicious ice-cream in our communal freezer.
Cots and high chairs are available free of charge on request.

Why leave your dogs behind when you go on holiday? Dogs are welcome at Wheeldon Trees & unlike many other places, we don't charge extra! Most cottages have their own small and fenced off rear patio; our tiled floors downstairs are easy to keep clean and we can provide towels for wiping off when you come in from that lovely long walk! Woof woof!
