Located at this most southern tip of the Peak District National Park the quiet and rural location offers an ideal base from which visitors, walkers and cyclists can explore the beautiful scenery and surrounding villages and attractions. The historic market town of Ashbourne is 3 miles to the east. Alton Towers is 5 miles to the west. The Tissington and Manifold cycle trails are within 3 miles with Dovedale only a 2 mile walk using the network of public footpaths which run adjacent to the site. The village pub is within walking distance and offers an extensive food and drink menu catering for all ages

Common End Farm is a family run site offering holiday accommodation - bed and breakfast or self catering guest accommodation and camping & caravan facilities. The B&B/self catering accommodation is offered in a converted traditional stone hay barn over 250 years old. It is self contained and fully equipped enabling it to be rented on either a bed and breakfast or self catering basis with sole occupancy. The camping field is to the rear of the barn and farmhouse overlooking surrounding fields and with views reaching across to Thorpe Cloud and Dovedale.
