Location

Set in a quiet country lane and surrounded by farmland, the holiday cottages lie within easy reach of many beautiful sandy beaches, magnificent coastal walks, the acclaimed Eden Project and the popular Camel Trail and have convenient road access to all parts of Cornwall. Hawksland Mill is three miles from the friendly town of Wadebridge, which has good shopping facilities, and five miles from the ancient fishing port of Padstow, with its fascinating harbour, shops and renowned seafood restaurants.

THE PERFECT PLACE TO RELAX................... This single storey holiday cottage is approached from the open courtyard through its own fenced garden and a porch and hall.

A double-aspect cosy sitting/dining room has a comfortable suite and an attractive natural stone fireplace incorporating a woodburning stove. Sliding doors lead to a lovely bright South-facing conservatory and enclosed paved terrace with views over adjoining Cornish farmland.

The bathroom has an instantaneous electric shower above the bath, shaver point and heated towel rail.

Off the hall is a pleasant fully fitted kitchen with pine cupboards and equipped with electric oven/hob, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and microwave.

The pretty master bedroom has a double bed and a second colour television set and space for an optional child's divan or cot.

The second bedroom has one 3ft and one 2ft 6ins bed.

Each bedroom has good quality beds with feather pillows, mattress and pillow protectors, duvets and spare blankets, a fitted pine wardrobe and bedside lighting.
Bed linen is included in the rental and beds will be made up in readiness for your arrival.

From the M5 at Exeter, take the A30 bypassing Okehampton and Launceston. Ignore the signs for the A395 to North Cornwall, Wadebridge and Camelford and continue on the A30 until the exit at Bodmin. Drive through Bodmin following the signs for Wadebridge (A389). Bypass Wadebridge following the signs for Padstow/Truro/Newquay. After crossing the River Camel, continue for three miles (passing the Royal Cornwall Showground on the left) and turn right on the A389 to Padstow. Pass the garage and take the first left hand turning signposted to Hawksland. Follow the lane round two sharp bends and Hawksland Mill will be found on the right clearly indicated by a large name board. Go through the gateway, turn sharp left and park facing the low wall and the trees.

It may help you to know that there is an excellent supermarket near your route, approximately two miles from Hawksland Mill. After crossing the River Camel, turn left at the top of the hill at the Shell petrol station (signposted to Wadebridge Town Centre) and 'Tesco' is situated approximately 1/5 mile on the right

Other Information

Towels and tea towels, which are always available for hire by arrangement and charged at £3-50 per person per week and paid for on departure.
Towels are not to be removed from the property.

Electricity for domestic hot water and heating is by meter reading and currently charged at 11.75p per unit and also paid for on departure.

Payment of £6-50 per basket of logs for the woodburning stoves in Heron Cottage is made in the same way.
