Owner's Description
The entrance to Swallow Barn is away from the yard and most the windows look out across the valley, providing stunning views towards Marhamchurch and as far north as Cleeve radio station near Kilkhampton.
The entrance door leads into the kitchen-diner where we have retained many original features in our conversion. The fixtures include an electric cooker, microwave and fridge-freezer.
The spacious sitting room leads off the kitchen, and is comfortably furnished, including a television and radio/CD player.
From the dining area, stairs lead to the first floor. The bathroom has a basin, WC and bath with shower fixture.
The two bedrooms both have double beds and wardrobes, all in pine.
Things You Need To Know
The 'barns' at Budds are converted farm buildings grouped around the old yard. We have four properties -- two with one bedroom and two for four guests. As well as the yard, each cottage has use of a lawned area with garden furniture.
Additionally, there is a communal utility room (known as Wren) equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer, books, maps, leaflets, Wellington boots and many other things that have proved useful to previous guests.
