The rooms are lovely and large and have comfy seating, so you can relax and put your feet up. The main bedroom has a large flat screen TV with the full Sky package.

We have free wifi throughout the house and a computer in the dining room for all to use.

Even though you have your own entrance, you are more than welcome to come into the house and borrow maps and walking books, or just to have a chat!

Location

Lostwithiel is a hidden gem, and the antiques capital of Cornwall.

The centre of town is a 5 minute walk where there are lots of award winning pubs, restaurants, tea shops, antique shops, river walks, shops, church, train station and lots more.

Penrose B&B is only 10 minutes away from the Eden Project, local beaches and Lanhydrock House & Gardens and the A30.

The north coast takes about 40 minutes and even Lands End can be reached in just over an hour.

We are so well placed to explore the whole of Cornwall.

Owner's Description

The first bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, 2 armchairs, the TV has the full Sky package plus there is a DVD/CD player. French windows open onto a patio.

A fully equipped kitchen also includes an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, iron, ironing board, table and two chairs (more chairs can be provided).

The bathroom has a bath with electric shower over, sink, toilet and bidet. Towels are also provided in the price.

As a 2 bedroom apartment, there are interconnecting doors from the first bedroom to another large bedroom with a king size bed, single bed, wardrobe, dressing table, chest of drawers, TV, DVD/CD player and a 2-seater leather sofa. There is an ensuite, with a shower, toilet and sink. Linen is provided along with the duvet and pillows.

Each bedroom also is provided with hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobes, extensive beverage tray and bottled mineral water, books and games.

The garden is for all to share and there is parking for one car only.

We are situated 300 yards up a hill and next to the A390, although the house is high up from the road you will hear some road noise.

If you are coming by train or coach, let us know the time the day before and we can arrange to pick you up.

From the A30, turn off for Bodmin onto the B3268. Follow the signs for Lostwithiel and you will end up in the centre on Tanhouse Road opposite the Fish & Chip shop. Turn right onto the main road and follow it as it bears right and starts to go out of town and we are on your right. Go past the house (our sign is on top of the high wall) and turn right into Scrations Lane. Parking is first on the right.


From the A38, at Dobwalls find signs for the A390. When you get to Lostwithiel go through town, through the pedestrian lights, follow the main road as it bears right and starts to go out of town and we are on your right. Go past the house (our sign is on top of the high wall) and turn right into Scrations Lane. Parking is first on the right.
