Location

Close to beaches and the fishing port of Looe. The virtual traffic free ancient smugglers fishing village of Polperro is only a short drive away.

Many attractions nearby include the Eden Project and the National Marine Aquarium. National Trust properties include Mount Edgcombe, Cotehele and Lanhydrock as well as other attractions including the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Daphne du Maurier's Jamaica Inn and Morwhelan Quay.

Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor are a short drive away and is a must for walkers and hikers. The SW Coastal Path offers wonderful walks from Summercourt to Polperro via Looe and to Rame Head and Plymouth Sound to Mount Edgcombe via Seaton beach and Whitsand Bay.

Sailing, fishing, diving and riding are all available nearby. Two golf courses are available at Looe and Whitsands with St Mellion International Course a short distance away. Arrangements can be made for either a sailing or canoeing experience in the Tamar valley.

With plenty to occupy you and a host of local places of interest Summercourt offers an ideal base for a self catering holiday in Cornwall.

Owner's Description

Each cottage is set in a courtyard and offers gas central heating, oven, fridge, microwave, iron and other equipment you would associate with a tourist board four star rating.

Showers and baths are provided in each cottage. TV, video and a radio / CD / tape player are also provided.

There is ample parking and a child's outdoor play area and there is also a play room with games, books and videos.

A laundry room and drying facilities are on site.

Bed linen is included and beds are made up for your arrival.

Each cottage sleeps 2 - 5 people, plus cots which are available.

The Summercourt Cottages are ideal place to stay for people or families interested in exploring Cornwall and its many attractions, walks and beaches... It may not be suitable for someone who is looking to be in a busy 'buzzing' environment full of shops and nighclubs.

On the B3253, 2½ miles from Hessenford you'll see newly built flats and a brown tourism sign at Nomansland.

Slow down and immediatley turn into a narrow one-way lane... on through the village, turn left at the T junction... Two miles to go!

Follow all the 'bed' and Monkey Sanctuary signs. From the Monkey Sanctuary Summercourt Cottages is ½ mile on the right.

Other Information

Included in the Weekly Rental:
* All heating.
* Bed linen, with duvets and duvet covers. The beds are made up for your arrival and fresh linen is provided weekly.
* Colour TVs & VCR's are standard in all cottages.

Additional Charges:
* Dogs are allowed all year, except during the summer holidays of mid. July & August. The charge is £25 per dog per week. (Sorry, no other pets).
* Cots and high chairs are available.The charge is £5 per cot or highchair per week. Cot linen is not provided.
* Towel sets are £5 per week for 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel.

Short Breaks:
Short breaks will be accommodated whenever possible with charges of a 2 day break at 50% of the weekly rate, with additional days being 1/7th of the weekly rate. For stays of over 1 week, add 1/7th of the weekly rate per extra day.
