There are lots of local walks and pet dogs are welcome. We are dog friendly and have an outdoor "dog house" and a dog sitting service for guests who need to leave their dogs unattended.

Stallion Valley (the English translation of Cwm March) holiday cottages is a tranquil rural hideaway centrally located in West Wales, an ideal base for exploring The Teifi Valley, Cardigan Bay and Pembrokeshire. It is less than 30 minutes away from New Quay, Aberaeron & award winning beaches.
Stallion Valley holiday cottages is surrounded by fields and set in private grounds, 3.5 acres of mature woodland and ponds.
Stallion Valley holiday cottages is a short walk away from The Gwarcefel Arms our local pub/restaurant that has a warm welcome for all. It is centrally located in West Wales and convenient for Cardigan Bay, a wide range of towns, villages, harbours, fishing ports. beaches, shops, pubs and restaurants.

The Farmhouse luxury holiday cottage was built in 1873. It is a listed building and is full of character. and provides luxury self catering accommodation in the Teifi Valley. With 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms, it sleeps 6 comfortably.
Period features open fires, slate, & oak floors have been enhanced with the modern luxury conveniences of under floor heating, a fully equipped kitchen, woodburner and 2 bathrooms with gallons of hot water!
The Farmhouse luxury holiday cottage, sleeps 6, has a private terrace and garden, with garden furniture and BBQ. It has shared use of a freezer, washing machine, tumble drier and washing line.

Things You Need To Know
The traditional nature of the farmhouse holiday cottage presents access difficulties. We are however sympathetic to the needs of the less able and are happy to discuss access requirements.
The Farmhouse is set in a gravel surfaced farmyard with adjacent access for parking. It is accessed through a gate and 3 wide steps.
The holiday cottage ground floor is slate and level throughout. It comprises of an entrance hall, a kitchen diner with plenty of floor space and a lounge with limited floor space.
There are 2 toilets and bathrooms, both are on the first floor which is accessed by a straight flight of 12 steps. The larger bathroom has good floor space and access to the toilet and wash basin. It has a shower over the bath.
The holiday cottage sleeps 6 and has 3 bedrooms located on the first floor. The master bedroom has a double bed and has an adjoining door to the larger bathroom. The two other bedrooms each have 2 single beds that can be linked to provide large double beds. One of these bedrooms has an en suite bathroom.
The first floor has oak floors with moveable rugs.
The farmhouse holiday cottage has an enclosed garden with a terrace/patio with table and chairs there are steps down to the farmyard and surrounding grounds. There is an adjacent private garden which is level and grassed. The grounds, 3.5 acres, are of varied terrain and are steep in places with mature trees and ponds.

Continue on A48 to Carmarthan and take the A485 to Lampeter, follow to signs to Llandysul onto the B4459 and B4336 to the A486. Go through Llandysul High Street (one way) and at the end turn right, back on yourself. At the bottom of the short hill, turn left onto the B4476 to Prengwyn.
From Aberystwyth
Follow the A487 coast road south towards Cardigan and turn left onto the A486 at Synod Inn. At Horeb turn left onto the A475 to Lampeter and follow to Prengwyn.
Other Information
Prices include VAT, central heating, electricity, hot water, bed linen, and towels. Dogs are charged at £25.00 per pet per week/break.
Breaks are: - 3 nights Friday to Monday or 4 nights Monday to Friday.
Additional nights are pro-rata. Other start days may be available by arrangement.
A non returnable 35% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. Cheques should be made payable to M Baross. You are advised to insure against cancellation loses.
Saturday is change over day for full week bookings, alternative days may be available by arrangement.
