Watch the Highland Cattle and Blackface Sheep graze on the banks of the meandering Douglas Water literally yards from the lounge window. The scenic beauty of the area is exceptional. Here, you are in the heart of hill walking country where the only companions you are likely to meet are the Red Deer and the wonderful wild life and birds so abundant in this beautiful secluded glen.

Golfers are spoilt for choice having the newly opened Carrick Golf Course on the doorstep. There is also a great choice of local golf courses where golfers can play. With Cardross Club being the course where Paul Lawrie won the the Scottish Professional Championship in 1992. Loch Lomond Golf Club is in Luss and this is where the Scottish Open is held each year

Location

Fishing is available on Loch Lomond, Loch Long and the surrounding rivers, along with water skiing and sailing. The Loch Lomond area offers a host of attractions including pleasure cruises, in the summer months, shops, pubs and restaurants. Lets not forget the children, who are well catered for at Lomond Shores.

The cottage is set in a pretty garden with seating. The charming interior has a welcoming 'county cottage' feel and the rooms are bright, spacious and extremely comfortable. All rooms are on one level. The bathroom is airy bright and fully tiled with power shower over the bath.

The house is equipped with fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, satellite television, DVD, radio, CD player, telephone with bed linen available on request. Cooking is on a Gas Rayburn cooker and gas central heating.
