Travelling eastward to the city centre you can enjoy Aberdeen's vibrant nightlife, theatre, art gallery and quality shops, restaurants and bars. There are also a number of quality golf courses to choose from.
Travelling west you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Royal Deeside and the old villages of Banchory, Aboyne, Ballater and Braemar. Visit Balmoral Castle or travel through the Cairngorm National Park where you can hillwalk or ski.

Location

Millside Self Catering Apartments are located in the village of Peterculter (also known as Culter), just 7 miles west of Aberdeen, Scotland. They are situated approximately 11 miles from Aberdeen Airport, and are conveniently located next to a bus route, local walks, plus cycle tracks along the old Deeside railway line.

Within the village there are many shops, two garages, banks, hairdressers, barber, supermarkets, leisure centre, library with internet access, etc. There are a good selection of restaurants and cafe bars, the upmarket Royal China restaurant and an Italian restaurant, fish and chip shop and chinese takeaway. Peterculter Golf Club, which also has a bar and restaurant, is just round the corner from the apartment and Aberdeen Petroleum Club (Kippie Lodge) is located just before you enter Culter. Also, on a historic note, it has a statue of Rob Roy MacGregor just 200 yards from the property, where he crossed the river.

Aberdeenshire is famous as the gateway to two of the most famous trails in the world - The Malt Whisky Trail and the Castle Trail. The castles and distilleries featured are really world class, and are a reason to visit Aberdeenshire in their own right.

Millside Apartment Self Catering offers 4 apartments located on the original historical Culter Paper Mill site in the village of Peterculter (also known as Culter), just 7 miles west of Aberdeen, Scotland and has a tributary of the River Dee bordering it, allowing you to hear the water. We offer 4 different apartments which are ideal for short term self catering holiday lets. Self catering is a popular and economical alternative to hotel accommodation, giving you the freedom to come and go as you please, and offering all the comforts of home.

Millside apartment is of moder design built in '92 and is very light and airy. Decorated on a similar theme to our sister apartment Cults Court, it is modern and contemporary.

The apartment has a large lounge with flat screen TV, DVD, Video, C.D player freeview and a hi fi. There is a six seater dining table.

The kitchen has a small breakfast bar, dishwasher/oven hob and fridge freezer and a microwave. there is also washing machine .

The master bedroom is very spacious with a king size bed. TV and mirror wardrobe, dressing table and chest of drawers.

The twin rooms have each fitted wardrobes and two longer than average twin beds of 211cms.

There is a modern bathroom with shower and ample off stree parking spaces.

Driving from Aberdeen city to Peterculter take the A93 and travel west approximately 7 miles. Continue through the village along the North Deeside Road and turn left into Millside Street. Turn right into Millside Drive and Millside Road is at the bottom on the left hand side.

When on Millside Street turn first left again on to Millside Terrace and Nos 86 and 90 are straight ahead to the right and 103 is to the left with the numbers marked on the outside.

If travelling by bus, take the bus No 19 (Culter) and get off at the stop just past the Royal China Restaurant and a short walk from the apartment. For timetable and exact routing of bus click here
